Question by Rox: Does the BlackBerry Pearl 8100, 8110 series phones really need to have silicone skin covers for protection?
Hi, I just paid a decent amount for a BlackBerry Pearl 8110, and read a review in which someone stated that the exterior of the phone is easily damaged, and to get a silicone skin to cover it. Just wondering, from people who have/have had this phone, is it really necessary for me to purchase one of these? Thank you!

Depends on how hard you are on cell phones. If you let your cell phone bounce around in a purse with various other hard objects or are in the habit of putting your phone in the same pocket as your keys, you may want to get a skin. If you keep your phone in a case when you don’t use it, probably don’t need a skin.
