So I am looking to purchase an unlocked blackberry curve 8320… However I am wondering how difficult it is to get the wifi to work with the att service?

WIFI has nothing to do with your AT&T service. It will not cost you anything, because WIFI is wireless internet from a hot spot, not AT&T. With WIFI, you can connect to any wireless internet just like a laptop computer. To use an unlocked phone, just stick your SIM card in the phone.
